I cannot recommend Jon highly enough. Lessons are always fun but he will challenge you to improve. He will tailor your lessons around your needs and has a very wide range of musical influences

I would highly recommend Jonathan. He has lots of patience with beginners such as my 10 year old granddaughter. Due to her extremely premature birth she struggles to understand new things but Jonathan has a gentle mannerism that she feels comfortable with and he genuinely gets the message over to her. I would highly recommend Jonathan and look forward to taking her to see him every week for her lesson.

I’ve been in education for over twenty-five years and in that time, I’ve mentored and observed more teachers than I can count. So although I’m not a guitar teacher, I know a good lesson when I see one. What makes Jonathan such a good guitar teacher is that he’s all about personalized learning. What you won’t get is a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach, where everybody gets the same lesson regardless of where they want to go with the instrument. What you will get is a teacher who listens to you – how you play at the moment, what you like to listen to and what kind of music you want to play.
