My Experience as a Teacher

I am a 24-year-old professional musician offering high-quality remote guitar lessons direct from my recording studio, appropriate for students young and old. I am very experienced working with children and I am fully DBS checked, with an advanced certificate as part of my volunteer training at King's College Hospital.

After years of experience in the London live music scene and doing volunteer work in as a musician in Great Ormond Street Hospital, in2014 I graduated with a Distinction MA in Commercial Music from Bath Spa University, and I have been teaching guitar and performing as a session guitar player and singer ever since.

During my time as a player and teacher I have gained a MA in Commercial Music from Bath Spa University, a Distinction grade, Grade 8 Singing ABRSM, Distinction, Grade 5 Music Theory ABRSM & an Advanced DBS certificate.

More About My Lessons

My lessons are always built around the styles and genres that you love to learn as a listener. I like to make sure we learn in a direction you feel comfortable with and that you enjoy. Sadly, due to Covid, most of my lessons are now being taken online.

I broadcast my lessons live from my professional recording studio, with my equipment and instruments on the show and always available. Personal lesson reviews, practice tasks, and supplementary audio/video materials follow each lesson.

Once Covid-19 lockdown is lifted and everyone's safety is assured, I will be pleased to offer in-person lessons again, at the students' house or at my studio.
