Industry standard bass lessons with professional tutor Tom Copley.
Hello! My name is Tom and I am a professional bass teacher located in Leeds.
I offer enjoyable bass lessons for all ages in the local area.
I pride myself on providing the highest quality of bass lessons for all of my students. I really want to make sure you all enjoy learning to play.
I have a large amount of experience in teaching students of all ages. I would recommend starting no younger than age 6.
As a music lover I like to make sure I teach a wide range of genres to my students. Together, we will aim towards learning the music you love.
I can teach everything from slap bass all the way to theory and improvisation.
I offer both hour and half-hour lessons in a wide range of genres. Every lesson will be made to fit your own interests and aspirations.
I would recommend my half-hour lessons to learners who are below the age of 10. I feel an hours lesson once or twice a week is enough to cover everything a young learner needs to know on a weekly basis. I would also recommend half-hour lessons if you prefer to learn little and often.
My hour lessons are my most popular option and probably the best suited to students of all ages. I find that one lesson per week is enough to see some real progress over a few months. I will have you playing your favourite music in no time.
I am an experienced teacher with over 5 years of teaching experience in a wide range of genres and all abilities. I will really make sure your lessons are of the highest learning level.
I am a qualified teacher who achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Music Production from Leeds College of Music. As well as this I have a wide range of experience in performing which I can draw upon to help you.
I can offer graded tuition if this is something you would like to pursue. I usually teach the Rockschool syllabus but I am open to suggestions if you would like to take a different exam.
Enjoying something you learn is one of the key aspects to making good progress. Because of this, I like to make sure all of my lessons are as enjoyable as possible.
I currently take the majority of my lessons from my home teaching space in Leeds. It is a great place to learn because I have created a comfortable environment where you can feel at home whist learning. I also provide all the relevant equipment for learning. I will provide my full teaching address upon booking your first lesson.
