Hi everyone, My name is Sam Becker & I am a professional bass tutor based in London offering high quality lessons for all.
My lessons are built around you & focus on making sure my students get the most out of their lessons whilst enjoying them.
I believe that learning to play an instrument is so much more productive when you enjoy what you are learning. During our lessons together we will learn all the essential theory whilst learning the songs that inspire you.

I am a freelance double bass and bass guitarist living and working in London. I began playing cello at the age of 6 and picked up the double bass 10 years later and I have been playing bass professionally for the last 5 years.
I believe that enjoyment should come first. I think it's really important that the needs of the student are fully catered for and that the love of their instrument and music should come before anything else.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
As part of the mgrmusic.com network we work with:I have experience in teaching both beginner and advanced students in a wide range of styles on the bass and double bass. I also have experience in teaching both young learners and adults.
I have spent many years honing my teaching skills and I will always make sure that the aims of the student are taken into consideration when coming up with a plan for that pupil. I teach a wide range of styles and skills and I think it's really important to keep music education fresh and current.
Music is an ever-evolving medium and I think therefore the teaching of music needs to be kept up to date. I always aim to put a smile on my student's face before the lesson is over! I have 10 years of teaching experience ranging from wider opportunities for teaching in schools to one-to-one private tuition.
I am fully DBS (CRB) checked (recent) and enjoy teaching on a regular basis as part of my career. I have a patient and down to earth personality.
