Centre Pointe Dance Studio – Job Opportunity
We at the Centre Pointe Dance Studio, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands are looking to hire a Singing/Musical Theatre & Piano teacher to teach private one-to-one classes with the possibility of establishing music theory and musical theatre group singing classes.
We are looking for a fun, energetic, upbeat teacher who enjoys teaching children & adults and who can bring their own professional experience, passion and love of music to CPDS students. We are a young teaching team this post is suitable for those with either a couple of years teaching experience or for the energetic NEW GRADUATE! We have a fully qualified dance/musical theatre dance team already in place your contribution would be to support the movement team with all things music!! (Experience in dance & movement would be an added advantage).
We already enter candidates for the LAMDA musical theatre examinations but the ability to offer external music examinations would be an added advantage. The need to support students’ individual learning needs and adapting to tailor classes for different students would be required. We run classes on weekday evenings and all day Saturdays during term time as well as workshops during school holidays.
This teaching post is available from January 2018 and as this is a new program to CPDS this opportunity provides an exciting new start to 2018! Salary commensurate with experience.
