    8.8.17

    Warm Ups:
    – Scales – don’t fade away at the end – full voice right till the end
    – Bella Senora – be sure of the rhythm of breathing in between (practice with the attached)

    Titanium:
    – Great first recording – very beautiful!
    – Go over the 2nd verse a little more (listen to the way you’re breathing)
    – Great power in the choruses as you warmed up more!
    – Take note of anything else you want to improve on when listening back to the attached

    Overall:
Work on engaging with your diaphragm a little more

    31.7.17

    Warm Ups:
    – Bella Senoras – make sure they’re nice and loud (activate the reflex calling out sounds and then go for it!)

    Titanium:
    – Beautiful and great work on building to a stronger chest voice
    – “You shoot me down but I won’t fall” sing this softly first time round but really enunciate
    – Second time round, all chest (think twang!)
    – Learn the second verse and try not to get it confused with the first!
    – Practice that tricky change from chest to head voice then back to chest voice

    Your Song:
    – This suits your voice – just sing higher for the low bits
    – “I hope you don’t mind” break to head voice on “mind” but keep the chest voice nice and solid all the way up to “don’t”
    – “words” breaks half way through, so practice making this nice and clear

    Great work!

    11.7.17

    Warm Ups:

    – Find Welcome Pack attached which includes the Body Conditioning we covered (at the bottom)

    – Great Octave Slides/Lip Trills & Vowel Scales (“ma”s for the harder mid-range break notes)

    – Bella Senoras

    – Na/yeah scales for a higher chest/belted voice (find mp3’s attached to start practising) you can also try calling out “hey, oi, yeah!” to find the reflex

    – Range: F#-F# (2 octaves)

    Titanium:

    – This song suits your voice well and shows of all of your range

    – Great work at increasing your chest voice! Lots of strong notes coming out in this song

    – Find my piano version attached, plus the vocal version so you can learn the 2nd verse (and even vary it!)

    Your Song:

    – Sing with the Ellie Goulding version of the karaoke on Youtube and use the same strong chest sound from Titanium
