    Never Enough:
    – Sing to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzPFJ2e6XnM
    – Really great work on this! Well prepared and evened out with who sings what. You picked the right parts and complement each other well
    – Make sure you both don’t slide up on “never”
    – Jasmine: Work on stronger head voice for the “never, never” towards then end
    – Eva: Keep the note the same in the verse without dropping down to the note that’s too low. Make sure the “ver” of “never” is high enough. Great belting!

Think of a Halloween song to perform together!

Jasmine: Think of your hospital song and whether you’ll play for yourself or not

    Never Enough:
    – Good quick run through! Decide who sings what (make a document)
    – Unless you want to play it yourself, sing to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzPFJ2e6XnM

    New Rules:
    – Great work completing the recording today – have a listen below so you know what to practice to improve next time!
    – Jasmine: Lovely vibrato – just work on those sudden high notes, making sure you don’t miss them!
    – Eva: Great work improving the ending – we will work on this softer lower tone more
    – Work on making sure you’re perfectly in time with each other
    – Work on pronunciation and making sure it doesn’t slur or sound sleepy!

    Warm Ups:
    – Jasmine: Work on belting higher
    – Eva: Work on controlling high notes and finding the relaxed low voice

    New Rules:
    – Great work today completing the song! The edited colour-coded document is in your previous notes. Practice having a sing through before Monday so we can record! See you at 5.30 🙂

    Eva:

    Greatest Show:
    – Nice work on this today! Practice enunciating every syllable and getting each note perfectly e.g. “it’s taking over you”
    – Some fast changes – you were really getting the hang of this!
    – Practice to this:

    Never Enough:
    – Nice go of this! Practice switching from chest and head voice back and forth quickly!

    9.7.18

    New Rules:
    – You are both sounding great and playing to each other’s strengths
    – This is going well, use this document to remember who sings what and continue editing and colour coding with planning the rest of the song
    https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rb0aK5vuJMV_BJE5SqBKAQ-UHV7KkejLJSFx5ZGP66E/edit?usp=sharing
    – Talked about how to make the piano work, slowly building up from steady chords to pulsing and then going lower on the piano/2 hands
    – Started some harmonies – you don’t have to rush this as it takes time to get it right!

    Try Finesse:

    25.6.18

    Warm Ups:
    – Face stretches/connecting with core/fricatives/slides
    – Vowel Scales: C to top C – 3 octaves between you! Work on smoothing the transition from chest to head voice
    – Bella Senora arpeggios – again, dealing with the break. Worked very well, seemed easier here!
    – Na / yeah scales – working on belting comfortable! Managed to go up to Bb/B!

    Duo Lipa – New Rules:
    – Great start, you both know this quite well and it’s got good energy
    – Next time we can even work on harmonies
    – Try this instrumental: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUCe3lkzKzo OR perhaps try playing piano to this – seems to just be Am and F

The Greatest Showman – A Million Dreams:
    – Liking this for a slower song, nice contrast to the previous song
    – Great work playing to each other’s strengths: Jasmine sounds great on the low notes and Eva on the high notes in the chorus, but change it up and decide who sings what – no bickering 😉
    – Use this instrumental to practice to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRgjI8tnGu8

We could look into something by Ariana Grande at some point – if you both make a playlist of songs you both like that would be great
