    Warm Ups:
    – Stay in chest voice as long as you can comfortably
    – Great work with Bella Señora Lucky 7 (see warm ups on your profile)

    Chicago – Look Away:
    – Get into diva mode and enjoy the 80’s cheesiness of this song!

    Don’t Worry Be Happy:
    – Buy the track here (just once, then download as many versions as you want, separating parts)

If you like both, we can come up with a sort of electro reggae mashup as tried today! But I can make it better with time…!

    At Last:
    – “skies above are blue” make sure the line goes lower
    – “looked at you” – bend/flatten the note – A-Ab
    – When used to the runs in the B section, speed up the “I”s just a little, so that you don’t fall behind
    – Great what you’ve done with rest of the song!
    – Finale: Same notes as “life is like a song” then the run down for “mine”: C Bb Ab F D C then “at last” on the Ab!

    11.1.17

    Warm Ups:
    – Lots of slides

    At Last:
    – Pitch it correctly if singing a cappella (starts on middle C)
    – Make sure the slide on “last” is nice and even
    – Make sure you get all those high bits in there, and each little run
    – There’s a few blues note moments to be aware of: eg. “above” (going to Ab rather than A)
    – Great diction and dynamics, it’s going to be stunning when finished!
    – Great original ideas that you’ve added!
