    Sober:
    – Great work on this today – remember the second chorus is half the length
    – Work on the longer lines in the 2nd verse
    – Practise your own re-worked version of the last choruses, gradually building from a higher belt to a head voice octave. Have some fun with it!

    Home:
    – You have a strong start to this song – I am looking forward to helping you finish this!
    – Look at how literal/metaphorical to be with lyrics
    – Think about your structure and theme per section – “I/you/we”
    – Chords for possible bridge – play around with chords and the rule breaker of F# major rather than minor 🙂

(No One Knows Me) Like The Piano:
    – Great work on this!
    – As you aren’t playing, just focus on listening to the piano and building dynamics gradually
    – Work on high note ending – it’s just pentatonic notes 🙂

See you at sound check for a run through!

    – Pronunciation much better
    – Practice runs in middle 8
    – Get that guitar intro and outro sorted

Buy books and start trying songs out

    My Boy:
    – Keep the words well pronounced
    – Love the muted stop on “split ends” before the first chorus
    – Middle 8 sounds great with percussive muted chords. Work on building back up to the chorus
    – Higher singing on the final bit and perhaps that a cappella ending! Go on, be brave 😉

    On My Mind

    My Boy:
    – Get that attitude and depth out of it – sounds so much better already! A new side of you 😉
    – Middle 8: Muted chords which just accent your choppy voice. Higher ad lib, building up to final chorus and then sweet, high outro

    Turning Tables:
    – Great work going over this today and recording the bits we needed to go over!
    – Once you’ve got the notes engrained into your muscle memory, just enjoy expressing it! Good luck!
