First time in a while I’ve had a Grade 8 student want to do Slide Guitar as their specialism.
I have used a few blues based examples, but wonder if anyone can offer any peices or advice that will suit this Grade?
I have suggested a few short pieces showing different skills, however some tuning change would be required.

I have had back problems for a long time now due to leaning over teaching. I have been to physio before, one said keep your hips higher than your waist – this is a myth dont do that.
The latest physio i went to, for a while actually, made it very clear its just occupational, and you are going to get it from time to time.
I get asked this quite a lot, so thought it may be worth popping a thread in here about it.
