David Rollins – Professional Guitar Teacher
We are delighted to feature David Rollins as our national guitar teacher of the week. David is an experienced professional guitar teacher based in London, able to teach students of all abilities both from his teaching studio as well as online via Skype.
With over 28 years music teaching experience, David has built up a reputation as one of London’s leading guitar tutors. His multiple 5-star reviews are a testament to his ability as a guitar tutor, with students noting that David is the “best guitar teacher in London” (Simon H) and “his friendly, supportive and fun manner have made lessons a delight” (Rich Nokes).

A member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors and The Musician’s Union, David is able to offer lessons utilising knowledge that he has built up during an extensive teaching career. A career that has given him a profound insight into the individual requirements of each student, enabling him to create courses that produce impressive results across an array of different genres and abilities.
As well as helping beginner students to learn the foundations of how to play the guitar, David also provides lessons to help intermediate and advanced guitarists who are “stuck in a rut”. Holding a teaching philosophy that the “guitar is an instrument of endless possibilities” it is not hard to see why his students had described David as an “inspirational” (Rich Nokes) teacher.
David is an experienced musician in his own right, having supported Simple Minds at the Marquee in 1979, performed alongside Jonas Gwangwa at Wembley Stadium in 1988, continuing to perform live in a variety of blues and clubs in the UK to this day. Alongside performing David has composed music for film and TV, with his compositions being used by companies as far afield as Hong Kong, Russia, USA and Japan.
If you are looking to rapidly develop your guitar playing ability, perhaps after having plateaued in your guitar playing ability after many years of playing or looking to learn your first few chords on the guitar, then don’t hesitate to contact David Rollins to see what he can offer you.
