Half hour lessons are best suited to younger learners & those who have busy schedules.
Hour long lessons are by far my most popular option with the majority of my students taking an hour lesson, once per week.
'My daughter had her first lesson with Ben recently and had an amazing time. she said it was so much fun and Ben was really nice. she is going back for her second lesson.'
'Ben is an amazing drum teacher, my son loves lessons with him. He’s patient, encouraging and Oscar loves the fact he’s learning to play music by some of his favorite bands.'
I started playing the drums at the age of 15 In church and at school assemblies. This quickly developed into far greater interest, forming bands of various styles gigging locally and further afield.
I love to play live which ended up in one of my acts being signed which then allowed me to tour extensively and put an album out through Casket Records with worldwide distribution from Plastic Head, which is still on all major streaming platforms today. I then continued releasing albums with some gaining media attention, releasing videos as well as being booked for major U.K festivals.
After all of my touring and liver performing I decided to take my education a little more seriously and enrolled into Drum Tech London or BIMM as it's now known. Where my skills went from strength to strength being able to play a myriad of different genres on a regular basis and work with some of the U.K’s top session musicians, namely the bass player from the Spice Girls most recent tour.
I studied a PGCE at Canterbury Christchurch which led to working with young teens and adults teaching one to ones, small groups and whole classes in several schools and colleges gaining several outstanding observations throughout my career.
I currently take most of my lessons from my home teaching space in the CT10 3JJ area of Broadstairs. This is a great place to learn where you can really feel comfortable whilst learning to play. I really feel that being comfortable is one of the most important aspects of learning properly.
