Hi my name is Sheldon Conrich and I am an experienced guitar tutor based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. My services have helped many students of all ages achieve great results on their instruments with quick progress. I am always excited to work with pupils of all abilities!
I teach electric and both nylon (classical) & steel acoustic, thereby offering lessons that can focus in on many different styles depending on the student's interest.
My qualifications include Grade 8 through both Trinity and Guildhall as well as a BA Hons Degree in Music Technology from LIPA. Using the experience I have gained from academic pursuits as well as my 15 years of teaching, I tailor lessons to nurture the maximum amount of progress and enjoyment from each student.

I am a firm believer that students must have a passion for what they are learning in order to achieve the excellent progress, enjoyment and fulfillment that they are capable of. To encourage this, I find that learning about each student's goals and musical interests is vital.

Lessons cost £20 for 1/2 hour, £28 for 3/4 hour and £38 for a full hour.
I teach my lessons from my home located on Maxwell Road in Borehamwood, WD6 1JJ. It is an excellent space to teach and I always ensure an inviting and comfortable environment.
I invite all students from 6 upwards. I have extensive experience in teaching both the very young and adult beginners. It is important to note that older students just starting out are common and it is never too late to start! I am a firm believer that it is the logical teaching methods that I offer which get results, not age.
Not at all! Lessons can be as few and as far between as you would like, however for the sake of consistent progress I do recommend a session at least once every two or three weeks.
I ask students to abide by a 48 hour cancellation policy. This means that students must contact me 48 hours or more prior to a session if there are any problems that will intrude on the allocated time slot. Rescheduling is completely acceptable of course, but in order to keep my time and your money efficient I do ask students to keep me updated whenever possible.
