As well as currently teaching guitar at Simon Langton Girls Grammar School (Canterbury, Kent) and Chatham House Grammar School (Ramsgate, Kent). References from both schools are available upon request.
I have a clear approach to teaching my students. That is to ensure you are learning what you want to learn. I do this by making sure we map out your goals & what you want to achieve. I will use years of experience in many different aspects of music to ensure progress in the best way possible.
Beginner students are more than welcome. I have many students that started off as beginners and are now at the intermediate or advanced level. Alternatively, advanced players are also more than welcome to take lessons with me. I also welcome all ages of Student as it’s never too early or too late to learn guitar. If you have any more questions or would like to book a lesson, simply get in touch by emailing me.
Lessons & Prices
The main focus of my lessons is to teach the student what they want to learn. I feel this is the single most important aspect of learning the guitar. During our first lesson, we will set out the goals that you want to achieve & make a plan as to how we will reach them. As well as learning the songs you love, I will make sure we have the correct amount of exercise work and theory work to ensure you have a solid grounding in all aspects of guitar playing.
I welcome students of all abilities and playing levels. with a lot of experience in teaching beginners, I have developed the understanding that everyone learns in their own individual way and also at different speeds. I also have experience in teaching more advanced players that may have hit that rut and want to start making progress again.
Lessons are charged at £15 per half hour/£25 per hour for lessons taught at my home teaching space on Beacon Road. However, prices may vary for home visits if you wish me to travel to you. If you have any more questions please get in touch by emailing me at [email protected].
