I am a professional Musician with over 13 years in the music industry as a performer, producer, composer and educator. I would be delighted to pass on my knowledge and experience to you.
I believe everyone should feel the benefits of learning a musical instrument, that is why I offer lessons to students of all abilities and ages, however I recommend children don't begin to learn until 5+ due to their hand growth.
I pride myself on being a friendly, approachable teacher here to put you at ease and guide you through your guitar playing journey.

Half an hour lessons. These are best suited to young learners or beginners who are having their first experiences playing the guitar..
One hour lessons are best suited to driven beginners who wish to progress rapidly or more experienced learners looking to expand their playing.

I am a qualified guitar teacher, having achieved GCSE Music, A level Music, RGT Grades 1 – 8 (Guitar + Bass) and a BMus. (Hons) Degree in Jazz, Pop and Commercial Music Degree from Sage Gateshead. I also won the Rotary International Young Musician Of the year and Rose Glen Fisher Award of Excellence in Music.
I am happy to teach you to play guitar in any style of your choosing, but I am a specialist in teaching and playing classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, RNB, Soul and Funk music.
I offer a student-based learning approach. This means I will create a tailored plan of lessons to your individual interests and goals, making learning the guitar interesting and very enjoyable.

I currently take the majority of my lessons from my specialised home teaching studio on Edge Hill, Ponteland, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE20 9RW.
It has all the resources and equipment we need to have fantastic guitar lessons and is a very relaxing learning environment.
It is also very close to public transport links being just a 3-minute walk from Hill Park bus stop and a 15-minute drive from Newcastle City Centre.
