Lessons & Costs

Here at Guitar Lessons Nottingham, I am able to offer guitar lessons on both electric and acoustic guitar. Covering a wide range of different musical genres, including rock, pop, jazz and many more. For me, teaching is all about my own enjoyment for playing the guitar and wanting to share that with others. I like to keep the lessons relaxed and fun which helps keeps students enthused and driven to keep practising the instrument.

All of the lessons I teach will vary slightly from student to student, focusing on each student’s learning needs. I have experience teaching younger students, having taught students of primary school ages. With adults equally as welcome to come to attend guitar lessons with me, indeed, the majority of my students are adult learners. It’s never too late to pick up the guitar and play those songs you’ve always dreamt of playing!

Alongside my guitar teaching, I am an active guitarist, performing in a range of different musical projects. These include Eshek (a jazz/improvisation originals project), Lossa Bossa (Bossa Nova Trio) and Jiallo (jazz/funk/afrobeat band). With my degree course at Leeds College of Music being jazz-focused it will come as no surprise that these bands are in the jazz genres. This interest in jazz came from my enjoyment of improvising on the guitar. While I teach many genres of guitar I really enjoy the freedom and creative opportunities jazz provides.

The prices for my lessons are charged at £18 per half hour / £30 per hour. If you would like some more information about my lessons, please drop me a message at [email protected]
