    Kurt Cobain

Kurt Cobain was the guitarist for Seattle Grunge icons Nirvana. Nirvana’s career extended from their first album Bleach in 1989 to their final release In Utero in 1993 shortly before Kurt Cobain’s suicide in April 1994.

For his 1991 guitar rig, he pedals of choice where Boss DS-1 Distortion, Electro-Harmonix Small Clone, Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Fuzz (used for a “dark, thumpier sound” on Lithium).

He has both been voted 12th and 73rd best guitarist of all time by the Rolling Stones. For many, he is considered a guitar ledged – both others think he is seriously overrated!

What else do you know about Kurt Cobain? Do you think he is overrated?
