Hello, my name is Thiago Trinsi and I offer guitar lessons to students of all ages and abilities using online services like Zoom, Skype or Facetime.
I am a professional guitar teacher who is primarily based in Ipswich but I have now started to offer online lessons to all students anywhere in the world. All you would need to get started is a device with a camera on it and an active internet connection. Thanks to the power of modern technology online lessons have become a great way of offering instrument lessons to students from all over the world.
Even though online lessons may seem a little different to what we are used to, they are actually a great way of teaching music and it means that you never have to leave the comfort of your own home. I believe the quality of lessons provided online is just as high as if you were taking lessons with me face to face. I will be sending and sharing resources with you digitally so you are still able to practice from your home in between lessons.

I have played the guitar for most of my entire life and have been fortunate enough to travel to many places across the world with my music and teaching. This includes places like Brazil, USA, UK, Iceland and Sweden. I have been teaching online since 2007 and in this time have worked with students from all over the world from all walks of life.
My lessons are suitable for any student, no matter what age or current playing ability you have. I am fluent and confident in playing in all styles and genres of music. No matter which direction you would like to take the lessons in, together we can get you learning your favorite songs by the artists you love in no time at all.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
Both beginner and advanced students are welcome to take lessons with me, so don't worry if you have never picked up a guitar before or if you have been playing for years, I am here to help you progress to that next level.
Introduction to Guitar, Simple Songs and Melodies, Basic Chords
I have played guitar for a very long time and in that I have worked as a full time Artist, Producer, Composer, Orchestrator, and Music & Technology Specialist with a Master's Degree in Orchestration for Films, Games and TV. I currently have more than 20 years of experience teaching the guitar and feel very passionate about what I do.
My musical experiences have led me all over the world and I have been fortunate enough to have toured abroad working with guitar clinics, master classes, lectures alongside my online teaching no matter where I have been at the time. This wealth of experience has proven invaluable and I call upon this to help me provide the best quality lessons that I can.
I am author and creator of "10 Guitar Studies to Boost Your Alternate Picking Technique", which is a video lesson package that I created to help guitar learners all over the world. I have since won multiple awards and was lucky enough to have placed within the top 3 best of talent revelation in the world of the international guitar competition.

In the year 2020 I was awarded with the title as the Teacher of the Year from one of the most prominent online educational institutions in New York, and this had a huge positive ripple effect for me even in the Swedish media. I am very proud of this achievement and I believe that the level of work and passion I put in to my job reflects in the lessons with my students.
My music projects collaboration extends across many of the continents with artists, producers and companies from Brazil, USA, Uk, Canada, Australia, Italy, France and Greece, to name a few. Coming from Brazil, which is well known for its rich and diverse music culture, I have also studied and graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, USA and Chichester University, UK.
I currently hold the following qualifications: Jazz Improvisation (Berklee College of Music), Guitar & Technology (Guitar Institute – Guitar POA Brazil), Pedagogy For Music Educators (Cia da Musica – Brazil), Orchestration (Berklee College of Music) and a Masters Degree in Orchestration for films, games, and TV from Chichester University. I believe such a vast level of experience allows me to provide high quality lessons for any student.

Here is some information to help you get prepared to take your online guitar lessons.
Speed Test, is a very useful tool as having a stable internet connection is one of the most important parts to these lessons. Here you will be able to see what your speeds are and we will only need a speed of 3mbps to have a stable enough connection for the lessons.
As well as a stable internet connection you will need to have access to some kind of electronic device that has a camera on it. This could be things like a laptop, tablet or a smartphone. Many things have cameras on them nowadays so once we have access to one of these you are ready to go.
Once you have a device ready to go, there are many services we can use to connect for the actual lessons. The most common and reliable services tend to be Zoom, Skype or Facetime for Apple device users. There are other options too so if these don't work for you for any reason please just let me know and we can go through other possible options together.
It is my goal as your teacher to give you all the skills and tools that you will need to be able to play any style or song you want. I also like to give you an overall understanding of music to open the door for you to compose and create your own music too.

Lessons are £35 for half an hours or £50 for an hours tuition.
Lessons are provided online using services such as Zoom, Facetime or Skype. There are others we can try but these tend to work fine for the majority of people.
I teach students of all ages 9+.
No you can attend lessons as and when you like. I would recommend one hour a week for the most consistent progress.
Any lessons cancelled within 48 hours can still be charged for. I am happy to reschedule cancelled lessons where possible.
