Hi everyone, My name is Owen and I'm a vastly experienced guitar player and musician offering high quality online guitar lessons for students of all ages in a wide range of styles and genres. I will always make sure we work in a direction that you want to work in, We will learn the music that you love, the techniques that you need help with and above all else, learn to enjoy playing the guitar and practicing to play the guitar.
Above all else, I want my students to enjoy learning to play the guitar and because of this I will always make sure my lesson plan is made with your goals in mind. I will always sit down with you during our first lesson together and make sure we both have a clear idea of the learning direction we want to pursue.
My guitar lessons are always enjoyable and can be pushed in any direction that you'd like to learn in. I can teach a wide range of styles including Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz, Acoustic, Classical, Folk and much more. In terms of what we can improve, I can help you with all areas of your playing like building up speed, soloing, Improv, song writing, chords, theory, scales and if you find that you're a long term player who needs to break bad habits, I'm an expert at helping players in this kind of situation.

My lessons are always one to one and taken from the comfort of your own home. I believe that learning online is just as good as learning in person these days and my online lessons are conducted no differently to my face to face lessons. I think that guitar is an instrument that can take a lot of time to learn and I will always give my students realistic timescales and be completely honest with what you need to change or improve to become a better guitar player.
I offer both electric and acoustic lessons and can really help you become the player you've always wanted to be on either instrument. I like to make sure my students make a clear plan with me as to how we are going to improve and what our goals are. I will always take my time and create a lesson plan that suits both your age and your playing style.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you. Discounts are available for block bookings.

I'm an experienced teacher with over 10 years experience teaching both electric and acoustic guitar. Because of the experience I've picked up, my lessons are always of a very high standard and built around my students musical tastes and goals. As well as teaching, I've been performing live for almost 12 years and have toured all over the Uk and europe and have even performed as far away as the Philippines. I used to be a shy person when I was young and I feel through my performance experience I can help students gain the confidence they need to play and perform live.
I have recorded multiple albums, been endorsed by various guitar companies and can write in any style that you'd like to learn. My experience in song writing allows me to help students learn how to write their own music and hopefully start their own bands at some point in the future.
In terms of qualifications I have studied music at university, gained grade 8 on guitar by age 18 & I'm a registered tutor at the London College Of Music. I've also had many success stories when it comes to students and have taken many students to levels they never thought were possible and helped many players get out of playing ruts they have been stuck in. I really pride myself on helping others achieve their dreams.
I'm able to teach advanced guitar players as well.
During my lessons, I prefer to take a relaxed approach to everything, I'm your friend and your teacher and will always treat the lessons in an enjoyable manner without forgetting attention to detail. When it comes to how the lessons are structured exactly, this depends on what you want to learn, I prefer to build my lessons around what my students want to learn but if you really want I can also help you work this out.
I have a great range of experience in teaching beginners and will always take time to make sure you are developing good habits and the correct technique on guitar. I think that this is essential to be able to move onto becoming a confident and technical player.
During my lessons I like to utilise everything from exercises, technique work, theory and scales mixed with plenty of song work. If we are learning a particular scale or technique, I like to combine this with songs to help show you how this is used in the music that you enjoy in your spare time.
How do we take online guitar lessons?
All of my guitar lessons are taken online from the comfort of your own home, I like to make sure my lessons and teaching style are always of the highest quality and this is more than manageable these days because technology has come on so far recently.
I prefer to use zoom or skype to take our lessons but I'm open to other options if you like. In terms of payment, bank transfer, paypal or wise seem to be the easiest and best options.
I'm a highly experienced guitar teacher and player who can help you supercharge your playing in no time. My student driven lessons will really help you learn to play the guitar correctly or cut out any bad habits if you're a more experienced player. My lessons are charged at £35 per hour and £20 per half hour for all students.
Our lessons together will be taken from home via skype or zoom.
I teach students of all ages and will always make a lesson plan that fits your ability level.
For people with a serious drive to learn guitar, weekly lessons are by far the best option.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price.
