About Your New
Piano Teacher

I am a down to earth teacher who will help you rapidly improve your piano skills.

I have been passionate about music for as long as I can remember. When I started learning piano at age 10, all I ever wanted to do was play and I would practice for hours every night. As a teacher I am keen to bring this passion for piano to the classroom, to inspire my students to thoroughly enjoy learning the piano.

I passed my Teaching Diploma for piano in 2017, and I am eager to apply the skills and techniques I gained from this in my lessons. Alongside teaching the piano, I am also a third-year student of Criminology and Social Policy at the University of Nottingham.

Learning to play an instrument can be challenging but also exciting and rewarding, so my goal as a teacher is to encourage, support, and inspire students throughout their musical journey.

In addition to my qualifications in music, I have experience performing in charity concerts and I played regularly at a local pub while I was in secondary school. Learning and playing the piano has given me a sense of achievement that I hope to share with my future students.
