My Lessons
Online Learning Available

All of the lessons are fun, engaging, low-pressured, and focus on your enjoyment of your voice. I will advise suitable pieces that you both enjoy stylistically and are suitable for your current vocal ability that will clearly and informatively put your technique work into context.

I have a 100% pass rate of taking students through both ABRSM and Trinity exam syllabi from initial grades through Grade 8. Having received a Distinction mark in my ABRSM Grade 8 Singing exam, I am confident in my ability to ensure that students receive the highest level of support and training through their exam preparation and enter at a time where they are confident in their ability to pass with the highest marks possible.

My Experience as a Teacher

I am a professional and versatile singing teacher with 15 years of experience performing in a variety of disciplines including solo singing, ensemble a cappella, musicals, theatre and opera from the age of 9. I completed a BMus (Hons) Music degree at King's College London where I also studied operatic vocal training at the Royal Academy of Music alongside my degree studies

I began my performing career by recording three classical charity albums by the age of 12, raising in excess of £200,000 for various children’s charities. During this time, I performed as a guest soloist regularly for the Royal Marines Orchestra, starred in my own sell-out show at the New Theatre, Oxford, as well as making regular appearances on local and national news.

My exposure to the music industry from a young age, and subsequent performance experience, has enabled me to offer high quality, results-based singing lessons aimed at nurturing an individual or group to achieve their goals.

More About My Lessons

I specialise in classical vocal training, but have extensive experience in both performing and coaching musical theatre, jazz, folk, classical-crossover and popular genres. I offer lessons to those looking to improve and enjoy using their voice, whether it be in preparation for a performance or exam, or just wanting to develop their ability for their own enjoyment.

My lessons are built around the student. I try to ensure that we learn all the necessary theory whilst still keeping the lessons fun and enjoyable. I will make sure we take the time over the first few lessons to map out what you want to achieve and what you want to get out of your lessons.

My approach to teaching vocals is a simple but effective one. I want you to understand your vocals whilst paying close attention to posture and vocal anatomy. I’m a believer in having structured yet innovative lessons, allowing the student to take hold of what they want to achieve and what you want to learn. I feel it is important that we work to your musical tastes and preferences and make a lesson plan that suits you individually.
