My Lessons

All Ages & Styles

I welcome students of all ages. However i recommend starting no younger than the age of 8. Regardless of your age I will create a lesson plan that works for you.

I teach a wide range of styles including classical, opera, pop and soul. Regardless of your music tastes, I am certain I will be able to cater for you.

Prices:

£15 per 1/2 hour
£25 per hour

Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

My Experience as a Teacher

I am a vastly experienced teacher having worked in the music industry for many years. As well as being classically trained in Londons west end I have also taught at the New College in Swindon for over 7 years.

I have a wide range of achievements in both my teaching and performing career including Basic teacher training for tuition, with enhanced C.R.B.National Lottery award for services to the arts, Accredited affiliated M.A with a pin number & I'm proud to say that many of my ex students are now working professionally.

I feel it is important when singing to learn the correct way. I will pay great attention to detail to ensure you learn properly. We will look at everything from posture to technique and everything else in-between.

I always create my lessons with the student in mind. I will always be mindful of your musical preferences as well as teaching at a pace that suits you. If you ever have any questions, I am always willing to listen.

Singing is a very long process, yes. But with my lessons, I can guarantee that you will see the progress you desire and together we will fulfil your goals. I am able to provide free sheet music, CD backing or mp3. Recording if required with no extra charge. I am also able to help student prepare for auditions where students are suitable.

I will set out a lesson plan with your thoughts in mind. Together we can learn in a direction that you enjoy and are comfortable with. Music is my passion and I can't wait to share it with you.

Swindon has some great music stores nearby where you can buy a wide range of instruments. Here are a few I would recommend.

Holmes Music, is one of my favourites. It's located on Faringdon Road, SN1 5AR. This place has a wide range of instruments for all learners on offer.

Kempster, based on Commercial Road, SN1 5PL. This is a small place that offers a wide range of musical instruments for every style. From piano music to guitar pedals they will definitely have it.

How much do lessons cost?

My lessons are charged at £15 per half hour and £25 per hour for all students.

Where do the lessons take place?

I currently teach the majority of my lessons from my teaching space based in the Polish Community Centre on Walton Close in Swindon SN3 2JU.

What ages do you teach?

I have experience in teaching students of all ages in a wide range of genres. I would recommend starting from ages 8 and above though. Regardless of your age I will create a lesson plan that works for you.

Do I have to attend lessons every week?

If you want fast results then weekly lessons are recommended. However, you are welcome to take lessons as and when you want.

What happens if I have to cancel a lesson?

Please note Singing Lessons Swindon operates 48-hour cancellation policy. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged for.
