Hello! My name is George Ward and I am a professional singing teacher located in Tamworth. I offer high-quality singing lessons in the Tamworth area.
As a vocalist, I have been performing for 20 years with a strong focus on musical theatre. However, my time at University studying music has given me the opportunity to broaden my repertoire to include more traditional vocal pieces.
All of the above, combined with my love for modern music, gives me a rounded musical knowledge that I am eager to pass onto my future students.

I am pleased to offer singing lessons to students of all ages and abilities however I do recommend waiting until age 8 to begin singing lessons.
As the fundamental techniques for singing are the same throughout many styles, I am pleased to offer lessons in any style of singing you love, however I do specialise in Musical theatre, Classical, Pop and Folk music.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome both beginners and advanced players in a wide range of styles and genres.

I have studied music at all levels of education, and I am currently working towards a degree in music at University, with vocals as my first instrument.
I have performed all over the Uk and Europe in a playing career that has spanned most of my adults life. Singing is my passion and it's something I want to share with everyone.

I can teach a wide range of styles
My fun personality makes it easy for people to feel comfortable in my presence, which I have found useful when teaching young students who may be nervous in the beginning. I am excited to watch my students grow as vocalists, and pass on all of the knowledge I have learnt throughout my musical career so far.
I like to create a tailored progress plan for each student based on their individual goals and learning needs, this way I can ensure we are having fun and progressing through learning the music you love.

Music courses and venues in the area
Tamworth is only small so it is limited when it comes to musical opportunities. For more courses, shops & venues I would recommend travelling further afield. Here are the few options we do have available.
South Staffordshire College, has some great music based courses. The college offers courses such as Music Production and Working Musicianship Level 3 and even a Foundation Degree in Music Production. These courses are run by experienced staff and with fantastic facilities, you are certain to learn everything you need to know before journeying into a career in the music industry.
Tamworth Assembly Rooms. The Assembly rooms are located on Corporation St, Tamworth B79 7DN and is an events venue hosting exciting shows such as comedy, intimate stage plays, family theatre fun and evenings with stars of stage and screen!. If you are looking to catch well known and famous acts in an intimate setting this is the place for you.
I'm a professional singing teacher and performer who can help ou rapidly improve your vocals and everything from understand to posture as well. My lessons are charged at £20 per half hour and £25 per 3/4 of an hour.
I teach the majority of my lessons from a dedicated studio in the B79 7DH area. Full teaching address will be provided upon first lesson booking.
I teach both adults and children (8+) in a wide range of musical genres.
Weekly lessons are the best option for all students. I do offer fortnightly lessons as well though as I understand we all live a busy life and sometimes it might be challenging to commit to weekly lessons.
Please note Singing Lessons Tamworth operates 48-hour cancellation policy. Any lesson cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged full price.
