I offer tuition in a wide range of styles including Pop, Rock, Jazz, Singer/Songwriter & Folk. We can learn what you are interested in.

I have experience in teaching students of all ages in a wide range of styles. I currently offer my lessons to students of ages 5 and above.

Prices:

£15 per 1/2 hour
£30 per hour

Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

Beginners & Advanced Students Welcome

I teach both beginners and advanced students in a wide range of genres. I will make a lesson plan to suit your ability level.

My Experience as a Teacher

Janice is an enthusiastic vocal coach with years of experience working 121 and in group environments with both Adults and Children. She is especially adept at helping singers find 'their unique voice'.

Janice guides students through a variety of individually tailored exercises which are designed to establish strong foundations in vocal technique thereby encouraging vocal freedom and confidence. She is a qualified voice specialist accredited by the Institute for Vocal Advancement and Modern Vocal Training. She also holds a first-class BA (Hons) in Creative Musicianship.

Her lessons are always built around her students needs as a learner & built around the styles that you enjoy.

More About Melissa

Janice has over 15 years’ experience of performing as a singer and pianist and has participated in various groups, duos, and as a solo act. Her styles range from musical theatre, jazz, pop, rock and anything in between.

Janice has toured all over the UK with various acts in a wide range of genres and styles & will continue to do so for the rest of her life and would love to pass on her knowledge to you. .

Whether you are singing for a hobby or to fulfil your creative passions Melissa will be able to assist you with her tailored approach to coaching.

I teach students of all ages in a wide range of styles. I would recommend starting no younger than 5 though.

Do I have to attend lessons every week?

For the best results, weekly lessons are your best option. You could go for less frequent lessons if you like though.

What happens if I have to cancel a lesson?

Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price.
