Teacher's Biography:

I have been teaching drum and percussion semi-professionally since 2010. I am the founder of "The School of Drumming', a music school specialising in high quality, affordable drum lessons for all ages and skill levels. We are independently owned and operated by a staff of qualified & experienced professional musician-educators.
Outside of business, I perform semi-professionally in a variety of genres including Pop, Rock, RnB, Jazz, Fusion, and Gospel, in large venues across Surrey and London. I have extensive experience of working alongside top industry professionals and have undertaken studio, session and live television work.

Music Qualifications / Achievements:

  • I hold a Degree in Professional Music Performance for the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford
  • I hold an A level in Music (C) and a National Diploma in Music Tech (Triple Distinction)

I enjoyed my first drum lesson with Adam. He is encouraging and friendly. The lesson was the right level challenging. Adam also offered good advice on equipment and suggested effective ways to practice in my own time too, which is very useful!

Adam is patient and passionate. He can teach to any level and has a real love of the art of drumming. He will not only go through techniques and styles, but also is able to advise on how to set up and care for your instrument, and look after yourself as you play.

Adam is an AMAZING drummer! He knows his stuff and loves sharing his knowledge with those around him! Adam is patient yet knows when to push you out of your comfort zone- would highly recommend for all abilities and ages!
