Alberto started playing the electric bass guitar first and then the acoustic guitar during his teenage years in his native Italy, also studying the Upright Bass at the Conservatoire of Classical Music in Udine (Italy). After moving to London in 2002, he attained a DipHE (Bass Guitar) at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance as well as progressing his teaching knowledge whilst achieving both a PTLLS (Adult Learning teaching qualification) at the College of North East London and a CELTA (University of Cambridge) teaching qualification.
Since 2018 Alberto has made Udine is a new home. Over the years, Alberto has played with a number of rock bands, appearing on a number of records as a bass player, as well as touring the UK and Europe. This mixture of academic qualifications as well as his experience and passion for the world of live music places him in an ideal place to offer advice and guidance to aspiring beginner guitarists as well as expert bass players and to ensure that they can achieve their own personal goals whilst having fun along the way!
Alberto prides himself on his friendly and relaxed teaching style that helps students develop their technical abilities as well as their understanding of the world of music. Guitar playing is a wonderful skill to have and can provide many years of enjoyment. Alberto strives to cater to the individual in his lessons working on material that has a personal interest to the student.
