Description
Teacher’s Biography:
I have taken on several students varying from primary school ages to college graduates, teaching various topics ranging from basic chord shapes and scales to improvisation methods and advanced technique. Recently, I have also started carrying sessions at JAM Music Schools as a deputy instrumental teacher.
Music Qualifications / Achievements:
Upon leaving school I was offered a position as part of my former GSCE music teacher’s function band, which I stayed with throughout college. As well as playing in various other bands, I took part in the World Skills event during my time at North Warwickshire & Hinckley College, and played at the UK final at Birmingham’s LG arena.
Upon leaving college with a BTEC triple distinction in music performance, I received an unconditional offer at Coventry University and I am now in my third year on the BA Music Performance course. Throughout the past year I have secured myself as a guitarist for several reputable function bands and duos, received regular employment as a dep guitarist from other professionals from across the country and have MD’d for various bands and artists.
I am currently in the process of launching my own professional function band and jazz duo whilst also finishing my degree at university.
