Teacher’s Biography:

Being born into a musical background, Ben has been passionate about music his entire life. After studying piano from a young age, Ben also took a keen interest in electric and upright bass. Since moving to Liverpool to study in 2013, Ben has been extensively active in the local music scene. Whilst still a student, Ben played numerous gigs on electric bass with various bands, ensembles, and pit orchestras whilst pursuing his piano studies. Ben has been a professional musician since 2015 and has played countless function gigs on keys all over the country, alongside upright bass in a jazz duo and many other bands.

While Ben offers tuition and support towards the ABRSM and Suzuki grades, he is also very open to teaching other avenues of music, eg Jazz, Pop, practical theory. His lessons are completely catered to the student, no matter what age they might be, or genre they want to learn.

• 17 years experience playing music
