Teacher's Biography:

Chris has been working as a singer, musician and teacher for over 10 years.

In that time, he has taught hundreds of students, many of whom have gone on to some of the highest grade 8's in the UK, to top drama schools and into West End and touring shows.

Music Qualifications / Achievements:

  • Chris has performed to hundreds of thousands of people at many prestigious venues including the Savoy Hotel, Mint Leaf, Blenheim Palace, Grand Hotel, Pizza Express (Soho), Swift Bar (Soho), Cavern Club, Liverpool Empire, Edinburgh Playhouse, Manchester Palace and on BBC Radio and on the BBC and ITV
  • He has also worked as a musical director in London and elsewhere, on projects such as When I Came Home After 15 Years (The Cockpit Theatre), Looking for Elvis (Oxford New Theatre), and as a choirmaster for several touring shows including Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
  • Chris has also played on several scores, including Wargames (BBC), Latter-Day Saint and Cupcake, as well as on several commercials for companies such as IKEA and Gumtree
  • Chris is currently touring the UK as the show bassist for 'Cilla the Musical'
  • Grade 8 – Vocals, Guitar, Trumpet
