Teacher’s Biography:
Clare studied a Masters in Advanced Vocal Studies at Wales International Academy of Voice after completing her Bachelor of Music at Cardiff University. Clare has played the Violin since she was six and has played in Leicestershire county orchestras and Cardiff University Symphony Orchestra, as well as participating in and running a high school folk group. She has sung in the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and BBC Chorus of Wales.
Clare has taught music since she was in high school with leading a primary school chamber orchestra for children to come together and share their music learning. Since leaving higher education, Clare wants to add more enthusiastic music lovers to her list of private students.
Musical Qualifications & Achievements:
- Masters in Advanced Vocal Studies – Wales International Academy of Voice, Cardiff
- Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours – Cardiff University
- Grade 8 ABRSM in Voice
- Grade 8 in Trinity Musical Theatre singing
- Grade 6 ABRSM Violin and two years University orchestra experience
- Grade 5 Music Theory
- A levels in Music, English Literature and French
