I’ve always loved singing for fun eg. In the shower/ in my car but have never done any public performances except choir in primary school! So I was a bit nervous about having my first singing lesson as I didn’t know what to expect.
I had a one hour one: one session with Emma & would highly recommend her as a teacher. I can tell Emma has a depth & breadth of knowledge that comes from personal experience in the music industry as well as formal education.
I know that Emma helps other singers with auditions, but for me I just wanted to explore my voice & have fun, which we certainly did do. We did some fun voice warm up exercises & explored techniques to improve my singing voice, posture & breathing. I felt Emma really listened to my voice & gave careful constructive feedback. I had a little homework & went home to practice straight away. I already feel more confident about my singing voice. After my first lesson my husband complemented my singing voice & felt moved as I sang!
I’m looking forward to my next lesson already.

Emma has been wonderful in helping me extend my range and the quality of my tone. This has not been easy given I am a middle age bloke not very confident in singing out in my upper register. Her positive outlook, patience and expertise have greatly improved my confidence and my voice.

I have been having lessons with Emma for several months now and I am thoroughly enjoying it! At the start I was incredibly nervous about singing in front of someone I don’t know, but after a few sessions I saw a dramatic change and find the lessons very comfortable and engaging! I have worked on a range of different genres with Emma from musical theatre to Michael buble! The lessons are fantastic I could not recommend Emma highly enough, and I will be continuing lessons for the foreseeable future! Thank you Emma!!
