| About | I grew up in South Austin and began playing the Violin in 6th grade. I earned a Bachelor Degree in Music Education and I am certified to teach Middle School and High School Orchestra as well as All-Level Music. I have been teaching private violin lessons and performing professionally since 1995. I have performed on stage, television and I have also played on various recordings. I am a 75 year-old woman who at 70 wanted to “relearn” the viola after 50 years not ever touching the instrument. One of the greatest decisions I made as a violinist was to start taking private lessons with Justin Farrow. Mr. Farrow pushed my abilities as a musician and his guidance carried me through middle and high school orchestra.
