Teacher’s Biography:
Louisa is a professionally trained actor, director and singer. She has been teaching singing to all ages, from 7 to 80, since 2007 and has performed Classical music, Jazz and Musical Theatre professionally. She has sung at numerous events and concerts, including the Mayor of Chelsea and Kensington’s Charity Ball in 2014. Louisa has been running Musical Theatre workshops for children aged 11-18 since 2009 and has co-written and directed a folk musical, which toured in the UK in 2013.
Last year two of her singing students were accepted to top drama and dance colleges (Italia Conti and Sylvia Young). She also helped coach students for their exams taken at school, including LAMDA exams, with all students receiving the distinction.
Louisa has a flexible teaching style and believes in working on music that the student is passionate about. Having originally trained Classically, Louisa has grade 8 (distinction) in singing from ABRSM in addition to her professional theatre training. The technique is an important part of the lessons, but even if your goal is to simply enjoy singing and grow in confidence, Louisa’s lessons can be tailored to you. Louisa is also able to coach for auditions for drama schools and musical theatre exams, as well as help with public speaking.
In addition, Louisa is fully DBS checked, registered with the update service and holds a safeguarding certificate.

- Grade 8 (distinction) ABRSM singing
- 3 Year Diploma in Professional Acting with Directing
- BA (Hons) English and Literary Studies: First Class
- Lead and ensemble roles in Musical Theatre and Pantomimes (2010-2016)
- Jazz singing as part of a harmony trio for events (2013-2016)
- Classical singing for various concerts including Soloist for the Mayor of Chelsea and Kensington’s Charity Ball (2014)
- Vocal training with Olivia Safe (2003-2007) and Adrian Hicks (2010-2013)
