Teacher's Biography:
I am an International London College of Music Examiner and write articles for the Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar Society magazine.
I teach all levels of Classical/Acoustic/Bass/
I have over 30 years of teaching experience, and still love all aspects of teaching at any level !! I have re-written the complete rhythm charts, technical requirements and questions for the current LCM Electric guitar/recorded exam syllabus.
My teaching has been Quality Assured through the BwD Music Hub, and I hold the enhanced DBS clearance. In January 2015 I was awarded ‘Experienced Exam Tutor’ status by the RGT, for continued success with pupils in the exams.
I am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians, have passed the University of West London Child Protection Course to 17/5/22 and the HM Government PREVENT training.
The increase in online distance learning has been a great success since March 2020, and all pupils have benefited from the flexibility and the variety of lessons were can do together.

Nick is an excellent and versatile teacher with lots of experience in teaching both beginners and advanced musicians. He cares about his pupils and the progress they are making. Lessons are fun, well-prepared and tailored to the individual. He builds confidence in his pupils and is always encouraging. Highly recommended.
Nicks lessons are so much fun. I started as a novice and now I can play all sorts of genres on my ukulele…..I’m totally hooked. Nick is always encouraging me to learn more and takes time to teach my requests too. He has a great manner and enthusiasm for teaching. So get yourself booked in and you could be a guitar/ukulele/mandolin/banjo/string hero too!!!
