Teacher’s Biography:

Paul Beattie is a professional musician and guitar teacher based in Moira, Co. Armagh , Northern Ireland.

With over thirty years playing experience in various cover bands, Paul continues to play acoustic gigs as a solo/duo artist at weddings and events/gigs.

Paul teaches both acoustic and electric guitar from his fully equipped home music room, with amps , pedals, guitars , piano and backing tracks.

He has a welcoming and friendly approach and structures his lessons around the students own personal taste in music and bands/artists.

This approach is key to making sure that it is an enjoyable experience for the student.

Paul also teaches during the day at Rathmore Grammar School in Belfast, where the students of all ability levels are coached for Rockschool and Trinity grades.

This is a position that he has held for thirteen years resulting in a vast amount of teaching experience working with a team of exceptional tutors.

Paul has the ability to inspire confidence and provide direction in your guitar playing.

Music Qualifications / Achievements:

• Thirty years performing experience in cover band gigs, solo and duo acoustic acts ,recording. radio and television
• Thirteen years teaching experience at Rathmore Grammar School
• Fifteen years private tutoring
