I started teaching piano at the age of 18 to children from 4 to 10 years old. Music theory was part of my lessons as well, as a support for all the piano abilities developed. In the following years, I had students of all ages since I started to work in other schools. Classical music was my main teaching subject, although I had older students playing film and video gaming music as well when their technique was improved enough to do so.
At the moment I teach Classical and Jazz music, as well as Analysis to older students who would like to learn about the theory behind the sound.
The most important aspect of my teaching is that students feel happy, comfortable and unique in their lessons, always curious and open-minded to progress. As a teacher, I believe music is fundamental in everyone’s personal development: creativity, body awareness, self-confidence, brain plasticity, emotional intelligence.
