Teacher’s Boigraphy:

I have been teaching piano for over 20 years to both adults and children. I teach the age range of 4 years and beyond. Not only do I enjoy teaching, but I also enjoy playing the piano.

I have also worked as a resident pianist in a five-star hotel, played in choirs, for occasions such as weddings and funerals as well as participated in music festivals along with my students.

In my teaching, I encourage all my students to enjoy music as they learn. I also encourage them to play in public performances and always look for or create opportunities to do this, including organising recitals. I always give the option of taking music exams as well.

Music Qualifications / Achievements:

• MA Music – University of Newcastle
• PGCET – Nottingham University
• BSc in Zoology, minor in music – UEAB
• Grade 8 piano (1997)
