What my students say

& why they love my singing lessons

Veronica V

'I have been through so many teachers. Some good and some bad. Kait is the vocal teacher you hope to find on that journey. Not only is she a phenomenal singer, she has a great talent for understanding what you want/goals in a lesson. She knows the voice and I think that is the strongest quality in a vocal teacher. Thank you Kait, you are wonderful to work with.'

Michael B

'Kait is awesome! She really knows music and she has the real experience to back it up. Whether you are aspiring to achieve pro-level skills or you just enjoy music for personal enjoyment, you will find something here. You can work privately or in a group. The people in the class are fantastic! There is something about making music together that everyone should experience. Kait and the other students foster a great supporting environment to help you release the music inside you.'

About Your New
Singing Teacher

Friendly, helpful and focused on helping you to rapidly learn how to fine-tune your voice.

I am an experienced teacher who has been teaching since 1997. During this time I have been able to teach students of all abilities and a wide array of different styles of music.

I feel it is important that we incorporate the artists and bands that you love into our lessons. This will ensure that the lessons are always enjoyable & will make sure we really get the most out of your playing.

One of the things I like to focus on with each student is to help them understand both the anatomy and health of their vocal instrument while helping them tap into their very best sound in an engaging and fun way.

I value honesty, discipline and detail work in the singing studio. I find those three things, meshed always with a genuine sense of fun and playfulness, are key to helping singers unlock and develop what makes them unique singers and artists with something gorgeous to say.

Local Singing Teacher Tips:

Music Shops in Salt Lake City:

There are a few options when it comes to music stores in the Salt lake city area. I would recommend travelling further if you want more options.

Acoustic Music is the most obvious option available in the area and caters mostly to guitarists and singer-songwriters. If you are looking to buy a starter guitar both new and used then this is the place for you. You can find the store on 857 400 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84102.

The other option for a general all-round music store would be Q Music store where you will find a lot of different types of instruments on offer. You can find the store at 4143 Carriage Square, Salt Lake City, UT 84129.

Music Courses in Salt Lake City:

There are some great further education options in the area as well where you can really take your music education to the next level.

The first option I would recommend would be The University Of Utah. Here you can find some great music-based courses that cater to those who want to take their musical studies to the next level. They have a dedicated school of music.

The other option I would recommend would be the music course available at Salt Lake Community College. Here you can enrol in a two-year program where you will learn about all aspects of music including performance and composition.
