My lessons are carefully tailored around your individual needs and interests. We will learn playing a mix of classical and folk pieces that you enjoy and at a pace you feel comfortable with.
I have grown up loving my violin and music, and my passion culminated in studying, performing and teaching. It is my mission to ensure you enjoy your lessons as much as I did, and I hope we have a laugh as we go along.
Ultimately, I want to help you to achieve whatever ambitions you have in music. Whether you are looking to pick up the violin casually, play at performance standard or go on to study music, I am excited to play a part in helping you achieve your goals.

Violin/Music Shops in Plymouth:
In recent years, music shops in Plymouth and the surrounding area have struggled to survive, and there have been a lot of closures.
Thankfully there are a few survivors who continue to do business and boast a good reputation. If you're looking to purchase your first violin or want to splash out on an upgrade, go and have a look at what they have on offer: Sound Unlimited Plymouth is Plymouth's go-to music shop and has recently undergone an expansion. They stock all sorts of instruments and their accessories and offer violins at a healthy range of prices with some great beginner instruments available.
Sound Unlimited are found in Plymouth at 125 Embankment Road, PL4 9JD. Craigs Music are located a short trip away at Bell Yard, Bodmin, PL31 2JL but are worth a journey. They are probably your best bet outside of Plymouth for instruments and have a really good reputation with both in-store and online buyers. I advise giving them a call before you visit to check what they have in stock as not all their instruments are listed on their website.
