Richard Hillyer – Mobile Guitar Tuition Bristol

We are delighted to feature Richard Hillyer’s Mobile Guitar Tuition Bristol as our national guitar school of the week. Mobile Guitar Tuition Bristol specialises in providing guitar tuition for 8 to 16-year-olds in the BS15 & BS16 areas of Bristol with two highly qualified professional guitar teachers. They welcome students of all abilities, including beginner students, and of course are delighted to teach adult learners of all ages.

Students are able to take guitar lessons to help them prepare for RGT or RockSchool graded exams should they wish to, with the school currently having a 100% pass rate at Distinction/Merit level. However, undertaking graded examinations is certainly not compulsory, with many students simply learning to play the guitar for their own enjoyment.

Founded by Richard Hillyer, an experienced musician and guitar teacher based in Bristol, the school has grown in reputation over the last few years as one of the leading providers of guitar lessons in Bristol. Indeed, his students reflect that they “could not wish for a more enthusiastic and encouraging tutor” (Ronald Summerill), while another highlighted that Richard had helped him “tremendously and given [him] the confidence to start up my own band” (Mike Goodfield)These glowing reviews of Mobile Guitar Tuition Bristol are built on many years of quality music tuition, with Richard utilising his extensive experience as an active musician to create a community of students who are excited and enthused to perform in a yearly showcase.

Mobile Guitar Tuition Bristol is even able to offer Skype guitar lessons for adult learners based outside the BS15 & BS16 catchment area, meaning that guitar students based across the Bristol, and beyond, are able to access guitar lessons at fantastic prices in the comfort of their own home.

Richard, who graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Professional Musicianship from the Bristol Institute Of Modern Music, is joined by fellow guitar teacher Henry Wilson to help provide lessons for the high numbers of students interested in learning guitar with Mobile Guitar Tuition Bristol. If you are based in the Bristol area and are interested in learning to play the guitar then make sure you reach out to Richard at Mobile Guitar Tuition Bristol to see how they help you improve your guitar playing ability.
