Stellar Musical Theatre Company
Dear friends,
I am wondering if you, or anyone you could recommend, would be available to join our new Company in Glasgow on Wednesday evenings at Maryhill Burgh Halls. This would be approx 5.30 to 9 pm.
We are a new company, very different to other stage schools in that we train weekly and rehearse to provide a company of young talent for performance opportunities across Glasgow.
We start in August, but already are performing at Mugstock Festival, are official entertainers for The Beatson Charity with 3 events in late summer and also will be performing for Hamleys at St Enoch Centre over the Christmas period.
Our vision is to give as many opportunities to perform to children as possible – only a handful go on to pursue this as a career and we want them to have as much fun doing it and as much performance out of it as possible – rather than training for training’s sake. We will be aiming to produce professional standard videos for YouTube, full shows, concerts and many more.

As we are a new company and not yet at full capacity (currently 30 auditioned entry kids), we are paying our coaches £20 an hour to join this company at the start and help mould it into something amazing. Once at capacity, which will be capped at 45 main company members (although we do have a development/mini team as well) there will be scope to increase the hourly rate or give a share of profits.
I am looking for fun, passionate people who can inspire the kids whilst giving them get vocal training; are able to put great numbers together, create medleys, harmonies etc. Our Patron is Artistic Director of Stagebox Musical Theatre in England – I am looking to emulate their standards and model.
