Jay –
Very nice environment with a big cosy living room where you can jam and a good home studio for some serious music sessions. I have been there taking blues lessons for over a year now. Dan has been a great teacher and a good friend to me with serious skills and knowledge. His lesson is fun and informative and we would always chat a lot about music theories to music tech, music history, different players and styles, etc. Since first taking lessons from Dan, I have been able to improve myslef a lot in a year and I would definitely recommend anyone from beginner to more advanced players.

[recording session] I requested composing and playing music appropriate for lyrics I provided. Dan interviewed me in detail to determine what kind of result I wanted. His team employed creativity and musical skill to compose and produce instrumentals that nicely fit the lyrics and my musical taste, as if we had worked together for years.
He went far beyond composing a simple melody. He developed different parts of the song that flowed perfectly, including introduction, verses, bridge, chorus and ending, spiced with guitar riffs. He employed rhythmic and harmonic variety that enhanced the emotion of the lyrics.
For the first phase of this project, he included drums, bass, rhythm guitar, and lead guitar, together with an instrumental version of the melody to guide a singer. His playing amazes me. I enjoy listening to the song over and over.
I am a picky person with high standards for music. Rarely do I listen to any song and react the way I did when I heard Dan’s result for this project. It was perfect. There was nothing I would change.

Dan made this project a pleasure from the beginning. He was genuinely interested in making my song all it could be. He treated me as a friend. He cheerfully responded to my special requests, such as providing computer files in a format I could use with my DAW.
I will continue working with Dan to enhance the song in this project and will request his help in composing and producing other songs. I like his playing style so much that I also hope to get lessons from him to improve my guitar playing.

Dan is committed, versatile and inspiring. The lesson was informal and fun with perfect combination of technical excersises and practical implementation. I could see my 12yo son’s eyes light up upon Dan’s effortless presentation of different sound and styles – after just one hour he is once again motivated to learn and work hard. Dan is every parent’s dream guitar tutor – I couldn’t recommend him high enough!
