Description
Teacher’s Biography:
My name is Jessica and I am an enthusiastic piano, clarinet and saxophone teacher with plenty of experience with all age groups. I have been involved in music since I was young, starting off on the clarinet before moving to the piano. Have completed my ABRSM Grade 7 in Classical Piano and Trinity College Grade 7 in Jazz Clarinet, as well as recently obtaining a music degree from the University of Hull.
I am an experienced teacher, having been teaching the piano for nearly five years now to a wide range of students from the age of 6 – 55 (anyone is welcome)! I mostly teach beginners but am happy to take people who have previously had lessons as well. I hope to be a music therapist and once qualified plan to still teach on the side – its a passion of mine and something I find very rewarding, especially when a student themselves get excited over a piece of music.
I am happy to teach popular or classical music (I myself am classically trained) and I can teach from home or go to the students’ house. It is helpful if the student has a piano to practice on – although not essential if they are a total beginner.
