Wedding Band
MGR Music Tuition is excited to announce a new project for 2016. Over the last four years I have been extremely fortunate to work with some of the UK’s leading music teachers, generating these teachers music students to teach. For many teachers their tuition business goes side by side with their own musical endeavours, driving forward their musical careers – to date, as much as I would love to be a part of this aspect of their musicianship, I had nothing to offer.
This changed in early 2016 when a manager of a several bands noted the potential “function band” market place and how a similar model to my own, in terms of generating leads for musicians through tailor made websites designed to rank extremely well in searches, might well be a project I could explore. After two months of research I am pleased to announce that over the next 12 months I will be developing a prototype model for a new website: Wedding Band. As the name might suggest I am interested in focusing the website specifically for the Wedding Band market, this was drawn out of the research that such searches were quite locational; “Wedding Band Leicester” or “Wedding Band Bristol” for example. Though as anyone that knows MGR Music Tuition model will note I have not gone for the individual location domains but rather a national domain, the thinking behind this is to slowly build the ranking strength of the Wedding Band website by creating a unique community of musicians and bands that buy into it as a concept and a platform that will hopefully generate them enquiries for local gigs. I will keep you updated on the progress of this project during 2016 and am excited to launch the first location Wedding Band Leicester on my 25th birthday in April!
