Nim Sadot – Professional Bass Teacher London
We are delighted to feature Nim Sadot as the national music teacher of the week. Nim is an extremely experienced bass teacher based on Seven Sisters Road in London, able to help students of all ages and abilities develop their bass playing. He has taught bass for over 20 years, with hundreds of students – including three students who have gone on to form famous bands – benefiting from his extensive musical knowledge & experience playing bass.
Offering lessons for students aged 6 years old upwards, from absolute beginners to advanced students, Nim is able to build an individually tailored course of lessons to help his each of his pupils progress. Younger students benefit from Nim’s experience teaching in multiple schools over the years, with students of all ages benefiting from Nim’s fantastic approach to music education, in his own words he will “teach you what to practice, how to practice and how to create your own practice routine”.
This philosophy is one that will resonate with many music teachers; helping provide a student with the tools to learn, rather than simply spoon-feeding them content. After all, give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to play the bass guitar and you feed his musical soul for a lifetime.
Alongside his bass tuition in London Nim has been an active musician, performing at events like the London Jazz Festival with some of the leading jazz and pop musicians in the world, including Harvey Mason, Makoto Kuriya, MARLENE and many more. This extensive experience of live performance & professional recording enables Nim to provide tuition event for the most experienced of bass players – helping them to reach their full potential on the instrument.
