The results are in from our Best Guitar Blogs vote! Many thanks to our community of guitar students for providing their favourite guitar blogs from across the internet and commenting on why these blog posts rock. All 25 of these guitar blogs made the grade and will be awarded a “Best Guitar Blog” badge (see more right). The blogs are listed in no particular order and cover a huge range of different aspects of the guitar. Everything from vintage guitar equipment, guitar lessons, reviews, interviews, news. We have written a few lines about what you can find on each blog and why they are must-read blogs for all guitarists.

It also features regular podcasts which is something not many guitar blogs are doing these days which in the opinion of our guitar students is great!

Voted by our users as one of the best blogs on the internet for articles on classic guitar equipment and vintage guitars. With in-depth articles exploring the history and impact of a guitar, the blog is supported by beautiful photography of the equipment. A must read if you are interested in vintage guitar equipment. Currently 11,000 Facebook followers.

The i Heart Guitar Blog (iheartguitarblog.com) was voted one of the best all-round guitar blogs for 2018 by our guitar student community. The blog provides detailed gear reviews, artist interviews as well as introducing our students to new music. It is was interesting to see that this blog was a real favourite with metal and more progressive guitarists, though certainly accessible for guitarists of all genre interests. Currently around 7,500 Facebook followers & 14,500 Twitter followers.

Our guitar community loved that the blog features so many different artists from around the world all coming together with a love for the shred! With nearly 6,000 Facebook followers and over 11 million views, Truth in Shredding has built up a significant following and community of guitarists itself. Even if shredding isn’t your thing just make sure you check out some of their blog posts and your jaw will drop at some of the talents on show.

The depth of information is truly endless, something really valued by the 40,000 social media followers that the blog has.

If you have ever felt interested in building your own guitar this website has a post on every aspect of the build process. Really positive reviews of this blog given by our students, both as a good read and practical advice.

Our guitar students loved the photos of guitars on the Deadeye Guitars (deadeyeguitars.blogspot.co.uk). It was recommended to us by some of our teenage guitar students who really liked the metal guitars featured in the blog & enjoyed logging on to see the new guitars photos included. As one student described it as the “Tinder of guitars”, as he scrolled down the page going “nah, nah, ah wait this one looks great”!

  1. Great list of guitar blogs. Its super exciting to see so much participation in the guitar world. The guitar has defined a large part of who I am. There is nothing cooler in my mind, than being a guitar player. The more information and resources that are out there, the easier it will be for that next generation of kids to pick up an axe and learn. Good work!
